Friedman’s Home Improvement 65th Anniversary

When two brothers – Benny and Joe Friedman – started a small junk store in downtown Petaluma just after World War II, little did they know what their dream would become over 65 years later! Today, Friedman’s Home Improvement is very proud to celebrate our 65th year with longtime friends, staff, customers, family, and our growing North Bay communities. Celebrate our anniversary by joining us for our Arbor Day Celebration, April 29th. Earth Day, April 22, 2011

According to the Earth Day Network, more than 1 billion people participate in Earth Day activities, making it the largest secular civic event in the world. That’s kind of a big deal and causes us to question, “Where did this all come from, what does it mean, and how can each and every one of us participate in this global effort?” The first Earth Day was celebrated on April 22nd, 1970 which was coordinated by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson.
