Richard Lewis - Director of Human Resources

Richard hired on with Friedman’s in 1999 as a Warehouse and Receiving Manager, and to assist in Inventory Control and Systems automation. In 2000 he was promoted to Human Resources Manager, and in 2005 became a member of the Executive Committee. One of his greatest accomplishments during his tenure, has been integrating and facilitating the Human Resource department at all levels of the organization.

A native of Vacaville, California Richard graduated from Vacaville High School in 1988. He went on to receive a BS in Business Administration and Human Resources Management from California State University, Sacramento in 1993. In 1999, he received a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Golden Gate University. In 2005, Richard received the Excellence in Campaign Award from United Way for coordinating the most successful payroll deduction campaign, a long-established relationship with Friedman’s. He also was elected for a spotlight from the Redwood Empire Blood Bank for his participation in coordinating company-supported blood drives.

An avid outdoorsman, Richard enjoys fishing, restoring antique/classic cars and cooking.
