Tony Corsberg - Vice President and General Merchandise Manager

Tony began his career with Friedman’s more than 30 years ago as a part-time bag boy in March of 1976. In 1999, he became Merchandise Manager and in 2001 was named Vice President. One of Tony’s greatest accomplishments was his pivotal role in driving Friedman’s to its current position in the marketplace. By developing a strategic brand identity, and helping the company refocus their commitment to its local community, Friedman’s has become the largest privately owned Home Improvement retailer in the North Bay.

Born and raised in Sonoma County, Tony attended local schools from Mantanzas Elementary to Montgomery High School. After attending Santa Rosa Junior College, he went on to Sonoma State University where he earned a BA in Business Management in 1982. During high school and college, he was involved basketball, and softball. Tony feels strongly about giving back to his community, and volunteers with the Schools Plus program benefiting Santa Rosa schools.

Tony and his wife Melinda of 20 years, have two teenage children Andrew and Kendra. He regards his wife and children as his first and most important priority.
