MDO Plywood, or Medium-density overlay plywood, features a paintable surface created by bonding a weather-resistant resin overlay to plywood using heat and pressure. This material is prized for its uniform density and defect-free structure, which enable clean cutting, routing, shaping, and drilling while minimizing waste and tool wear. Originally designed for signage, MDO allows paint finishes to last up to three times longer than those applied to standard plywood.
