On Saturday, January 14th all of our Friedman’s locations hosted our Bare Root Fruit Tree Clinic. Free and open to anyone in the community, topics ranged from selecting a fruit tree all the way to how to prune and care for your fruit tree year round.
Our Garden Department’s were not only event hosts, but also served as our Bare Root experts. They answered any and all questions – from tricky and specific to more broad topics. Why are certain trees
more fickle to take care of? How can you prevent brown rot on peach tree leaves? And
for every care and maintenance question that was asked, we were able to point people to specific aisles at our stores for solutions to problems or to simply begin their fruit tree journey.
At Friedman’s we host events like this year round because we understand that we aren’t just selling you home improvement materials. We want to help you at every stage of your project to make it the best it can be. Events like the Bare Root Fruit Tree Clinic allow us to take an additional step to serve and educate our customers. If you want to learn more about our events, RSVP for an event, or share it with your friends and family, check out our Events page on Facebook. In fact, we hope to see you at our next event, the Rose Clinic, happening at all Friedman’s locations January 28th.
