At Friedman’s we believe in people helping people. We support the community that’s supported us for the past 75 years. Through a legacy of volunteerism and philanthropy, we pitch in to help out.

Committed to Lifting People Up Since our founding in 1946, it’s been a privilege to make a difference in the communities we serve. We’re proud to partner with organizations that help people overcome challenges and thrive. When there’s a need, we always find a way. Whether that’s through volunteering our time or providing financial assistance, we band together for the greater good. Together, we’re making an impact that’s meaningful for everyone.

ABOUT THE FRIEDMAN FAMILY FOUNDATION

Helping the less fortunate in our community has always been the Friedman’s way. Founded by Bill Friedman and Harry Friedman, the foundation began in 1990 as a way to assist local non-profit organizations and people in need. Charitable gifts are made each year; especially during times of crisis.

The Friedman Family Foundation loves supporting projects that make a big impact on a local level. Bringing the SAY Dream Center to life and investing in regional hospitals—Santa Rosa Memorial’s cardiac wing, Sutter Hospital, and Ukiah Hospital’s emergency wing, are just a few recent projects. On the horizon is Caritas Village, an affordable housing project for seniors, veterans, singles, and families in Santa Rosa. Today, the foundation continues to seek powerful opportunities to serve our community for years to come.
